GENERAL TERMS OF ONLINE PURCHASES
Online purchases sold via this website are sold subject to the following terms and conditions. Please read the terms & conditions carefully. - By using the online purchase section of this website, you are accepting the terms & conditions of use. These terms and conditions are correct at the time of display and are subject to change without notice. - If you do not agree with these terms and conditions you must not continue with purchases online from this website. - All purchases from this website are sold in compliance with the Government of Western Australia Sale of Goods Act 1895. For more information please visit http://www.docep.wa.gov.au - All Tickets/voucher purchases must only be purchased from Ace Cinemas or other authorised point of sale. - Tickets can be any or all of the following: General admission movie tickets (in season and advance sales), Ace Cine Gold Lounge tickets (in season and advance sales) for admission into the cinema and any additional terms and conditions that may apply to the particular type of Ticket purchased. - Purchases from this website cannot be on sold to other parties without the consent/approval of Ace Cinemas P/L. - Tickets/Purchases that are damaged or defaced or unauthorized in any way will not be accepted. - All transactions will receive a confirmation number upon purchase approval, which you should quote in relation to the booking and upon presentation at the cinema.
WHO CAN PURCHASE PRODUCTS ONLINE? - Purchases from this website are restricted to person’s 16 years and over. - Purchases can only be made by the authorised credit card holder only. - Purchases from this website are made available solely for access from places in Australia.
CONDITION OF ENTRY
For the enjoyment, comfort and safety of all patrons, please ensure you are meeting our company policies when visiting our cinemas.
– Current ticket holders ONLY will be allowed into auditoriums and toilet facilities. Your ticket stub is your pass out and proof of purchase.
– Lost, stolen/tampered tickets will not be accepted and refusal of entry may occur.
– Correct and current ID cards MUST be shown for discounted tickets, proof of age for restricted films and entry to licensed areas.
– ONLY food and drink purchased from the cinema complex is permitted inside the cinemas. NO hot food, glass or cans are permitted.
– Ace Cine Gold Lounge is a licensed area. Proof of age may be requested.
– The cinema complex is a smoke free environment.
– Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) and other personal vaporisers for delivery of nicotine or other substances are not permitted to be used in any area of the cinema complex.
– Neat casual dress standards apply. Footwear MUST be worn at all times.
- No shopping trolleys, large bags or boxes permitted in the cinema.
– Please refrain from placing handbags and personal belongings under seats.
- Please do not put feet/shoes on seats.
– Please turn off all mobile phones within the auditoriums.
– Cameras, audio and video recorders are not permitted inside the cinemas.
– No Refunds will be given after 45 minutes of session start time.
– Management reserve the right to refuse entry. Patrons failing to adhere to the conditions of entry could be asked to leave the premises.
ACE CINE GOLD LOUNGE CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
- Ace Cine Gold Lounge is a fully licensed area.
- Guests must be 18 years and over or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to gain admittance. When visiting Ace Cine Gold Lounge, current, acceptable proof of age may be requested.
- Patrons under the age of 18 who are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian will not be admitted to the Gold Lounge and tickets will not be refunded.
- Pre purchase of tickets is highly recommended as we have limited exclusive seating for guests.
- No refunds are given for Ace Cine Gold Lounge tickets or Ace Cine Gold Lounge Gift Vouchers once the tickets have been purchased or the gift vouchers redeemed.
- Only food and beverages (including alcohol) purchased from Ace Cinemas can be consumed anywhere in Ace Cine Gold Lounge.
- All alcohol purchased must be consumed within the licensed areas only.
- Our House Policy is on display in our licenced areas to assist in explaining our commitment to the responsible service and consumption of alcohol.
- Management reserve the right to refuse entry & intoxication will result in guests being removed from the premises
CLASSIFICATIONS
Movie Tickets are subject to the classification of the relevant film given by the Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department (www.classification.gov.au). By purchasing a ticket, you represent that you are of an age permitted to purchase a ticket pursuant to the relevant classification for the film by the Attorney- General’s Department and must provide suitable identification upon request. Refusal of entry to restricted films will apply if current acceptable proof of age is not supplied upon collection of tickets. Movie Tickets purchased without acceptable proof of age are non-refundable.
ADULT TICKET An Adult ticket is required for people aged 15 or older unless a valid concession card discount is applicable.
CHILD TICKET A Child ticket is required for children between the ages of 3 and 14 years of age. Children under 3 are free when accompanied by a paid ticket holder if the intention is for the child to sit on the adult’s lap, if the child is to have their own seat then they must purchase a child ticket.
STUDENT TICKET A Student ticket is available to Fulltime Students who have a valid Student Concession Card. Student Concession Cards must be presented before entering the cinema.
PENSIONER/CONCESSION TICKETS Pensioner/Concession tickets are available for those with a valid Concession Card which must be presented at time of ticket purchase.
Where Concession and/or discount movie tickets are purchased online, current acceptable identification and proof to Ace's satisfaction that the person who is proposing to use the ticket is entitled to the concession or discount, must be provided at the cinema upon ticket collection in order to gain admission to the auditorium.
SENIOR TICKET A Senior ticket is available to Senior Card holders (60 years old and over). Proof of concession eligibility must be supplied at time of ticket purchase.
ACE CARD
- Membership benefits are only valid at Ace Cinemas.
- Ace Cinemas reserves the right to change the terms of the Ace Card Club, including the cost of movie tickets and the annual movie fee without notice.
- Membership Card must be presented at all times to receive Ace Card club benefits.
- $12.00* standard 2D movie tickets are available for you and three guests on select movies per day; all tickets must be purchased in one transaction to get members discount rate: more than one film can be viewed per day however the same film cannot be viewed twice on that day.
- One membership per person per year.
- Discounted movie tickets are not available with any other offer.
- Membership is valid for 12months for the date of purchase.
- Member discount ticket rates active upon joining/renewing, bonus ticket and candybar offers active 24hours after card activation.
- Only one bonus offer can be redeemed per transaction, per movie, per day.
- Discounted ticket rates and bonus ticket offers may not apply to select films/sessions or special event screenings.
- Ace Card memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. Card must not be given to other individuals to secure benefits from this program. - General $12.00* membership discount does not apply to AceMax or Ace Cine Gold Lounge, however Ace Card members do benefit from certain AceMax and Ace Cine Gold Lounge discounts (ask at an Ace Cinemas Box Office).
- Please note that an additional $2 ticket surcharge and $1 3D glasses may apply to 3D screenings.
- The card remains the property of Ace Cinemas.
- Please contact your local Ace cinema for replacements of lost or stolen membership cards
- It is the responsibility of members to notify their cinema of any change to their current postal address or email address
- *All information correct at time of printing and may be subject to change. By using your Ace card, you agree to the above stated terms and conditions.
SILVERSCREEN CARD
- Membership is open to all Senior Citizens, 60 years and older (proof of age identification required).
- Ace Cinemas reserves the right to change the terms of the SilverScreen Club, including the cost of movie tickets and the annual movie fee without notice. - Membership Card must be presented at all times to receive Silverscreen Club benefits.
- $9.00* select standard 2D movie tickets is available for you and a guest for select movies per day; so more than one film can be viewed per day however the same film cannot be viewed twice on that day. Both patrons must be senior citizens to receive the Silverscreen discount price.
- One membership per person per year.
- Discounted movie tickets are not available with any other offer.
- Membership is valid for 12months for the date of purchase.
- Member discount ticket rates active upon joining/renewing, bonus ticket and candybar offers active 24hours after card activation.
- Only one bonus offer can be redeemed per transaction, per movie, per day.
- Discounted ticket rates and bonus ticket offers may not apply to select films/sessions or special event screenings.
- Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable. Card must not be given to other individuals to secure benefits from this program.

EXTERNAL VOUCHERS
Third party vouchers and other external offers are not valid for sessions deemed special event screenings by the cinema (including but not limited to classic, cult, festivals, 3D) and must be used as per their individual terms and conditions and expiry dates. External offers are also not available online.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES REFUND POLICY
- Movie tickets sold online through this website are done so on a no returns, exchange or cancellation basis.
- Refunds will not be issued for an incorrect selection. By completing your transaction you are accepting this policy.
- Please select your movie carefully and double check that the session and ticket information you have selected is correct to prevent you being out of pocket.
- To the extent permitted by law, all refunds will be at the discretion of Ace Cinemas.
- In the event of refunds being approved Ace Cinemas will refund the value of the Ticket based on the price at which the Ticket was offered by Ace Cinemas at the time of purchase.
- You agree that Ace Cinemas may retain any booking fees or other incidental costs such as postage incurred in issuing a refund.
- Without limiting its discretion to refuse refunds, Ace Cinemas may grant a refund in the following situations:
(a) Transactions that have been charged more than once due to an Internet error. (b) Incorrect Ticket purchase in regards to session times, film title and/or cinema location where this was caused by Ace Cinemas.
- Ace Cinemas will provide compensation in the event of disruption of a session by means of:
(a) Power failure. (b) Security alarm or any other incident requiring full evacuation of the cinema. (c) Faults in presentation including loss of sound/picture of main feature film.
- Ace Cinemas may not grant a refund in the event of poor choice/liking of feature film/product.
GIFT CARDS AND VOUCHERS
- Prepaid Movie Vouchers and Gift Cards cannot be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged. - Prepaid Movie Vouchers and Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash. - All sales of Prepaid Movie vouchers and Gift Cards are considered final and returns, exchanges or refunds are not generally given, with the following limited exceptions:
(a) Product is faulty. (b) Product is not as described. (c) Incorrect product has been delivered.
- Ace Cinemas may, at its sole discretion, offer a refund or exchange in selected cases that are beyond the required legislation. However Ace Cinemas is under no obligation to do so and this provision should not be relied upon when making a purchase.
(a) Any refunds or exchanges under this provision will require a copy of your email confirmation (receipt) as proof of purchase.
- If a receipt is not presented. Ace Cinemas reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund.
- Where a refund or exchange is offered, the product must be returned to Ace Cinemas including any bonus items or gift packaging.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
Ace Cinemas accept any of the following major credit cards Visa, MasterCard, or Debit Card for online purchases. When you elect to pay by credit card, you are taken to our financial institution’s website, still in a secure environment, where you enter your credit card details and your payment is processed. Ace Cinemas does not have access to your credit card details, these details always remain with our financial institution, so you can be confident that your credit card details are secure.
You must present the same credit card used at the time of purchase upon collection of Tickets. Your credit card will be charged at the time of purchase online. Tickets purchased online will be charged to your credit card regardless of non-collection of tickets.
SECURITY
Ace Cinemas understand your concerns about the security of buying over the internet. When purchasing products over the internet, security of your credit card and other personal details is of paramount concern to Ace Cinemas. Our security and privacy policies ensure only authorised individuals have access to the information provided by our customers. Ace Cinemas take your security and privacy very seriously. For any unauthorised purchases or use of your credit card from this website, notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. Payment and credit card details are fully encrypted through secure server software (SSL) technology, which is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions.
PRIVACY
Your contact details will never be given to any other person or organisation, except to your credit card company as part of your purchase transaction. We also pledge that we will not sell, give out, or use in any way your private and personal details for any reason whatsoever. Ace Cinemas will store your contact details but will only disclose this information as required by applicable Commonwealth or State laws. Ace Cinemas may make disclosures that are necessary or advisable to conform to legal and regulatory requirements or processes and where the protection of the rights, safety and property of customers, suppliers, staff or the public is deemed necessary.
BOOKING FEE
A booking fee will apply per movie ticket, candybar items and vouchers purchases via this Website.
GST
GST applies to all goods and services purchased through this site. Prices advertised on this site are inclusive of GST.
PIRACY WE TAKE PIRACY SERIOUSLY AND SO SHOULD YOU.
- Because piracy affects our businesses, measures must be taken to prevent unauthorised recording of all films.
- Screenings may be monitored for unauthorised recording. Therefore, by attending your screening you agree not to bring any recording device into the theatre. If you attempt to enter with a recording device, you will be denied admission.
- If you attempt to use a recording device, you consent to your immediate removal from the theatre and forfeiture of the device.
- Unauthorised recording will be reported to law enforcement and may subject you to criminal and civil liability.
